This 2017 we bet on a new product that will give us safety in the point of sale. An intelligent cash drawer management in the establishments which increases staff productivity, customer service and, specially, the hygiene of the premises.
The intelligent cash drawer is attached to a POS terminal that accepts, validates and dispenses banknotes and coins back change.

The last weekend of January we witnessed the most important fair of the sector in terms of office supplies and stationery, held every year in Frankfurt.
The Paperworld allowed us to know new products, contact new suppliers globally to be more competitive locally and ensure a better quality product to our costumers.
TRENDS IN DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION!
On March 16 we attended in La Pedrera an event filled with content regarding the trends of digital transformation and its impact on the IT model. In the hands of HP, a leading company in the sector, we are aware of the processes of deployment of disruptive technologies that are changing the business and, at the same time, society.
A study by IDC (International Data Corporation) reveals that computing is crucial for the mechanization of processes: the connection of different devices has led to the birth of a capacity for processing and distribution of information difficult to assimilate and imagine.

We have been at the Graphispag 2017 trade in Barcelona to inform us about new trends in the printing industry.
The fair is focused on new areas designed to show and analyze graphic applications for four key demand segments for the sector: Editorial, Packaging and labels, Retail and Interior design and, finally, Textile.
An event through which we have focused a lot on how packaging is a fundamental element in the perception of the brand in front of the consumer, and elements to bring the product closer to our customers. In addition, we have seen how digital printing allows us to create new work environments and adapt images that are more attractive to consumers.
NEW 50€ BILL:
There are two series of Euro banknotes. The first series consists of the 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 200 and 500€ bills. Now, they coexist with the new series Europe that already has introduced the tickets of 5, 10 and 20€ and, on April 4 of this year, will do with the tickets of 50€. It is planned that the new 100 anv 200€ tickets will be introduced by the end of 2018.
The 50€ Euro banknote has dimensions of 140x77mm, orange and Renaissance architectural style. The two series of notes are legal tender in the nineteen Eurozone countries.

METIC2017 IN BARCELONA!
This month we attended the annual event, the Metic2017, at the International Convention Center in Barcelona. There, we have been able to see the big companies in our sector, attend round tables on the main current trends and converse with different professionals of the leading IT brands. It has spoken of Cloud, Big Data, security or Internet of Things, among other aspects.
We have also been able to participate in the presence and presentation of Chema Alonso, Chief Data Officer of Telefonica, who has addressed the issue of "ethical hacker".
The event has had an exhibition area of more than 2000m2 and a hundred manufacturers, which has allowed us to know more in depth the new product.

HAPPY SUMMER TO EVERYONE!
We have already officially entered the summer and, from riera, we want to wish a happy holiday to all those who have already started. For others, we hope you don't suffer much heat in the offices and encourage you because every day is less to make our expected vacations.
We remind you that the schedule for the month of July will be the same as during the whole year: from Monday to Friday from 9.00 to 13.30h and from 15.00 to 19.00h. The month of August we do intensive work day and the schedule will be from 8.00 to 14.00h.
The company will be closed from 14th to 18th August, both included.
NEW PROJECT IN PROGRESS:
This new season we started an online project with great enthusiasm. We start a platform through which we want to offer a new service to Riera to help you have the right information about the products you are looking for at each moment.
An online catalog that we believe is a good way to facilitate access to the technology and its service. You will be able to visualize products, make orders and purchases at the same moment.
We will keep giving you information. We hope you had a great summer!
On October 17th, we attended the event of one of the great European wholesalers. The day took place in Barcelona and, throughout the day, we could enjoy conferences given by professionals of the sector and major brands such as HP, DLink, Microsoft, Cisco, NetApp, Acer, among others.
At the same time, we were able to have the opportunity to see insitu new product. In this way, we could evaluate the operation of some machines and talk to some technician to get the most out of the equipment of our customers.
MANAGE YOUR COMPANY MORE EFFECTIVELY
We started the last time of the year. For this reason, it is necessary to take a step forward in business management. For all those people who still make invoices or carry out business processes through Excel, Word or others, we have the solution.
We computerize the company and leave behind the manual processes that is a waste of time. During November and December we have special prices for all types of business management programs. Be more flexible in the company and dedicate to what really matters.
